 NEW YORK, June 10, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Kyndryl (NYSE: KD), a leading provider of mission-critical enterprise technology services, today unveiled new advisory and implementation services to accelerate modernization of mainframe applications and data for Amazon Web Services (AWS) by tapping into the agentic AI capabilities of AWS Transform. 

Kyndryl's new services make it easier for enterprises to integrate mainframe applications with the AWS Cloud platform by leveraging the automated agentic AI capabilities of AWS Transform. As part of this initiative, Kyndryl is educating its experts in new AI skills for AWS.

To facilitate the transformation of mainframe applications for AWS, Kyndryl is applying its consulting expertise and services to help customers streamline the application software development lifecycle. Kyndryl also employs platform engineering and best practices to integrate applications with AWS. This approach accelerates application modernization, enables flexibility and customization, and future-proofs the software delivery cycle to enhance the developer experience.

Additionally, Kyndryl is providing services to leverage AWS Transform to modernize mainframe applications for AWS. For most organizations, conducting exploratory and deep analysis of source code and documentation can be challenging, time-consuming and prone to errors. AWS Transform’s ability to translate complex code terms using agentic AI improves understanding of and working with application documentation. Kyndryl’s projections indicate that applying AWS Transform to large-scale modernization projects will potentially reduce timelines by approximately one-third. As a result, the new services allow customers to quickly unlock value from their mainframe data and applications, and scale and transform their digital businesses.
